I watched an episode of CSI the other day, it was the one where they
investigate how that guy got trapped in the mixer at the sugar
refinery after the explosion. One of the CSI's found a single hair and
ran over it with a scanner to magnify it and it showed up on computer
screen. what is that scanner called and is it possible to analyse
evidence so quickly like that?
